Ivy coordinates women and couples training, seminars, as well as artistic programs related to “hi”. She is bilingual in English and Chinese, and provides translation of educational programs.

Ivy was born and raised in Hong Kong. Later she lived in Melbourne, Australia for studying high school and university. After graduation she returned to Hong Kong and began her career as a movie script writer. This work evolved into a focus on love & sexuality for newspapers and magazines.

Ivy held distinctions for being a contributor for Hong Kong Penthouse, Hong Kong Elle, and the Apple Daily (the most popular newspaper).

She ran a love & sex column for East Week, a highly popular weekly magazine.

Ivy’s fans affectionately named her “Hong Kong Carrie” (Carrie of Sex and the City) because for a long time she was the only female love & sex writer in Hong Kong.

In 2005 she came to San Francisco for graduate study in Human Sexuality at the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality.

Ivy started her own family in San Francisco and currently lives there. However she continued contributing to writing and related projects in Hong Kong. This included working for Hong Kong Durex as a consultant, where her duties included testing and endorsing their products.

She has been a writer for her entire career, and in the last couple years picked back up her long lost passion, photography. Her photography subjects include a wide range of human subjects, ranging from traditional family portraits to nude.

Ivy’s fearless creative style mixes a variety of subject matter, creating new and highly unique studies of the human form.

Laurie conducts women and couples training, as well as educational seminars related to ways to use “hi” and a variety of other topics.

Her approach is to welcome and affirm all gender identities, all sexual orientations, all sexual and relationship expressions.

Over the years, and in addition to required course academic work, Laurie purposely exposed herself to many sexual situations which many in our society would find controversial. It is her belief that experiential learning, first hand exposure, and direct conversation offer the greatest understanding of others.

As a Sexologist, a large part of her job is to be a sex enabler. She assists others in achieving the level of sexual function they desire. Laurie enjoys the study and research of not only what people are doing sexually, but how they feel about it.

In addition to seeing clients in her office or via skype, she hosts and facilitate various discussion groups. Laurie also organizes educational presentations and events as well as conduct California certified HIV testing, counseling and education. Greg Fisher is a serial entrepreneur and inventor with a focus on hardware and manufacturing. After graduating from UC Berkeley with an engineering degree, Greg worked in the medical device, hard drive storage, ice cream, and professional tools industries in various management, manufacturing, and quality control capacities. His clients included Walmart, MAC Tools, Stanley Tools, Snap-On, Matco, Steelman, Honda and others.

In 2003, Greg joined JS Products, an importer of professional automotive tools, where he was brought in to develop a quality program from the ground up, which was successfully installed and is referenced by top clients as a benchmark program for others to follow. He managed quality control teams of engineers, inspectors, and translators in the US, the Jiangsu province in China and Kaoshiung, Taiwan. Greg is proficient in Mandarin.

In 2005, Greg founded Berkeley Sourcing Group, a turnkey manufacturing services provider and partner for small businesses manufacturing overseas. At BSG, he has evaluated more than 700 products for mass production and has helped to bring over 60 products to market.

He lives 1/3rd of the time in China, managing up to 25 employees in Shenzhen and a micro-injection factory in the Jiangxi province and is currently opening additional factories for his growing client base.

Greg has served as President of the West Coast Region’s Engineers Without Borders, is an advisor to several hardware and product start-ups, and is a frequent speaker and mentor at Tech Shop and for IndieGoGo’s hardware campaigners. He is an advisor for Produk.Me, an onboarding and customer feedback engagement platform and for Flowity, a cutting edge supplier/customer communication portal. Greg is the founder of the East Bay Hardware Startup meetup and also a co-founder of Hardware Con3, the first event focused exclusively on accelerating hardware startups. HardwareCon3 – Conference, Convention, and Connection is launching October 2014 in the SF Bay Area.

Greg is developing the final product and coordinating manufacturing in China for “hi”.  He is an equity partner in this joint venture with Human Innovations.

Director of R&D at Women and Couples Wellness, LLC     Associate Professor of Clinical Sexology, Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality.  Steve is regularly interviewed by outlets such as Prevention, Redbook, CNBC, MSN, Women’s Health, Medical Daily, Glamour, Ask Men, etc.  His latest interviews and articles are listed here.

Steve McGough discovered the technology behind “hi” when trying to help Wendy (his Wife) recover from a tragedy. You can learn more about this under “Our Story” here.

For over 20 years Steve has co-founded and managed high tech companies. He holds both US and International patents, as well as co-authoring papers in neuroscience research.

Currently he’s the director of Research & Development at Women and Couples Wellness, LLC and an associate professor of Clinical Sexology at the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco.  Steve received his Doctorate in Human Sexuality from the IASHS, and continues research on “hi” there.

Steve received a BS in Biochemistry (focusing on nutrition) from UNC-Chapel Hill.  Out of school he began working in pesticide research at EnCas Analytical Labs.  Later he became a research chemist at the Center for Investigative Neuroscience at Wake Forest School of Medicine.

Realizing the Internet was going to change everything, Steve left research to co-found Internet Technologies, Inc. in the mid 90’s. Internet Technologies provides a variety of government, shipping logistics and related software systems. Steve stepped down as vice president of Internet Technologies in 2010.
