Dr. Laurie Bennett-Cook
hi® Master Level instructor - Clinical Sexologist
Laurie conducts women and couples training, as well as educational seminars related to ways to use “hi” and a variety of other topics.
Her approach is to welcome and affirm all gender identities, all sexual orientations, all sexual and relationship expressions.
Over the years, and in addition to required course academic work, Laurie purposely exposed herself to many sexual situations which many in our society would find controversial. It is her belief that experiential learning, first hand exposure, and direct conversation offer the greatest understanding of others.
As a Sexologist, a large part of her job is to be a sex enabler. She assists others in achieving the level of sexual function they desire. Laurie enjoys the study and research of not only what people are doing sexually, but how they feel about it.
In addition to seeing clients in her office or via skype, she hosts and facilitate various discussion groups. Laurie also organizes educational presentations and events as well as conduct California certified HIV testing, counseling and education. She is an IPSA certified Sex Partner Therapist. You can contact her at her private practice here.
